  4.  OVER THE HILL ISSUE
  5.  
  6.  With this, AJAEN's fortieth issue, we here at the
  7. Anonymous Jones Headquarters are proud to announce
  8. that we are now officially over the hill and cannot
  9. be trusted by anybody thirty-nine or under.  Actually, we
  10. considered numbering all future issues #39 in the
  11. great Jack Bennyan tradition, but considered that trying
  12. to distinguish among all those different issues would
  13. become increasingly more trying as time passed, no doubt
  14. leading to early senility and a serious reduction in the
  15. hitherto unparalled wit and entertainment value of our
  16. simple but highly erudite publication.  (At least that's
  17. what our mother told us...)  Also, this way we can continue
  18. to pull the (New Zealand) wool over *Gentle* Kate's eyes, and
  19. yolk a little more about the egg-laying mammals in the
  20. infamous Australian Menagerie.  So here we go, folks, it's
  21. downhill all the way to the half-century mark and the next
  22. Pop Quiz.  Stay tuned and keep that card or letter coming.
